Cadbury Mini-Eggs + Book Signings

It's almost Easter which means my yearly obsession; mini-eggs!!!!  I'm pretty sure I am not the only one who is obsessed, they are constantly sold out, which makes it hard to find them, but once you find these delicious pastel morsels, it just takes you to a place of chocolate ecstasy.

love + air = spring

I have been absent for some time now.  Hibernation?  Maybe.  I do have some updates to share...

First and foremost, my mother-in-law wrote a novel and sold it a couple of years ago.  It has been auctioned off and sold in Brazil, Germany, Turkey, Italy, and of course, the US of A.  It has been a really exciting time for her.  She got a few early editions and I had the opportunity to read it.  I LOVED it and recommend it to anyone looking for a novel about life, love and hope.  The title is "Dancing on Broken Glass" written by Ka Hancock.  It comes out Tuesday March, 13.  She is doing a reading at The King's English on 1511 South 1500 East SLC.  It's March 15th at 7.  She did invite the "world", so come, enjoy, buy, get a signed copy, read and love!!!!  You can follow her at http://kahancock.com/blog/ or http://twitter.com/#!/KaHancock1.

Next we have Payton.  She has been playing the piano since the middle of January.  I will listen to her practice sometimes and she is pretty good!  We did "note" flashcards the other day, and she knows her notes.  She is a really smart girl.  She is always telling us new things she learned in school, drawing us pictures about sound waves and writing in cursive?  I ask her, are you sure you aren't 8 years old?  NO!!!  Her mom is having a baby boy in about a month so she will have 2 little brothers.  She is so excited.  She will still tell me how much she wants a little sister, and I say, maybe one day...(I am not done yet (but I also don't love being pregnant.))  She is just growing up so fast and I'm pretty sure she is almost as tall as me! (which doesn't say much considering I am such a shorty..)  Anyway, she is cute and we all just love her to death!

Lucas...he is just so big!!!  I took him to the doctor for his 9 month.  He is almost 20 lbs and 29.5 inches long.  I am still wondering where that length comes from?  He has some big chompers (4) and is getting more, which makes him super drooley and kind of ornery, but he is such a good boy.  He loves to eat, which makes me happy.  He is scooting nicely on his belly, which means he is on his way to being all over the place crawling around!  I just want to cuddle with him all the time, but he is like, mom, get off me, I need to do my own things!

Shawn and I...we are just doing the same things.  Shawn is working, finishing up his last year of school, and playing tennis.  I am just doing some work here and there, being a mom, shopping and waiting for swim season.

LOVE HIM!!!

Who can resist not going outside on such a beautiful day, not to mention these faces!

Lucas was being naughty, so Shawn felt it appropriate to put him  in the "baby can", which as you can was such harsh punishment ;)

Pay just loves her "mister bubs"...yet he seems to be a little blinded by the sun...
